Our March block of lessons starts Sunday, 2nd March. These Junior Cert Higher Level Maths Lessons (Online Grinds) will run every Sunday morning from 10am-11am. These sessions are perfect for students who want to gain confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and maximise their marks in the Junior Cert exam. I’ll guide you through past exam questions, demonstrating exam techniques and sharing study tips and exam hacks to boost your confidence and efficiency. With 24 years of teaching experience and my role as a Leaving Cert Higher Level examiner (and former Junior Cert examiner), I bring a deep understanding of how marks are awarded and where students often lose them. I’ll help you avoid common pitfalls and focus on the strategies that make a real difference on exam day. These weekly lessons are interactive and engaging. You’ll have the chance to practice by showing your workings on screen. I’ll provide individual guidance and feedback, picking up on any misconceptions and helping you correct them in real time. Don’t worry—while I can see everyone’s work, students can only see their own, so you’ll feel comfortable and supported throughout. You can choose to have your camera on or off and either unmute to ask questions or use the chat feature. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can learn effectively and build your confidence in maths. You’ll be better prepared to tackle your Junior Cert Higher Level Maths exams, know how to structure your answers for maximum marks, and feel more confident under exam pressure.
